'Operation Toofan' Phase Two Launched: Toofan Flag Hoisted at Balussery Grama Panchayat
Balussery: The second phase of 'Operation Toofan' titled 'Toofan Thaddhesam'—aimed at expanding the state's fight against drugs to the ward level through local self-government institutions—has commenced.
As part of the state-level inauguration, Grama Panchayat President Mangaladas Triveni hoisted the Toofan flag at the Balussery Grama Panchayat premises.
Elected representatives, local body employees, Kudumbashree members, Haritha Karma Sena workers, ASHA workers, Anganwadi staff, students, teachers, service pensioners, youth groups, members of voluntary organizations, and the general public participated in the event.
