For a Grama Panchayat, it serves as the primary executive body that implements the decisions of the Grama Sabha and manages day-to-day administration.The main components of a Panchayat are:President: The head of the Panchayat. They preside over meetings and supervise the overall functioning of the Panchayat.Vice President: Performs duties in the absence of the President.Ward Members: Public representatives elected from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Special committees formed for matters such as Finance, Development, Welfare, and Health and Education to facilitate easier decision-making in the Panchayat.
